It began in early summer of 2004, San Francisco. Carly and Cheryl had just begun to play together along with a few others,which ended promptly due to creative differences. They stuck together and agreed that another full band was in order so they recruited Christine and Mica. Still in need of a drummer and a second guitarist, they searched high and low until Carly had a brilliant stroke of luck one night when she struck up a conversation with Josh, the bassist of Amortifera, at her roommate's dinner party. Josh revealed that he and Steve, the drummer of Amortifera, had been in a musical slump ever since their vocalist jetted off to LA. It was then that the Finest Dearest family was born. Since then Finest Dearest, the self proclaimed dark indie pop band, has infiltrated the San Francisco music scene playing in a multitude of popular venues and making an appearance at the 2005 Mission Creek Music Festival.They just completed their first southern California tour.
